The Shell Library Building
Haryana | Public Building | Architecture
A tiny library building located in Haryana is a double story building that has been designed celebrating the prominent location. The building site has a flyover in front, so visibility from flyover is also addressed achieving a form reacting to that viewing height, distance and angle. A shell structure proposed in concrete is intended to be peaceful and simple. Maximum north light has been achieved with the structure while blocking the light from other directions. The windows are deep seated under the shell structure and achieving the maximum indirect light through it.
