Every element of the G4S Mind Centre was crafted to reflect brand identity, functional excellence, and human-centric design. From the commanding reception to the collaborative cafeteria, the space is a testament to how design can empower performance.

The intent is to design an experience center for G4S Pvt. Ltd. in Gurugram. A space of approx 9000Sqft has a terrace running through the Periphery being a source of naturalight and service access. The space has to be planned keeping in mind an experience center and a command center to demonstrate the products offered along with back-end support..

Reception – A Bold Statement

The entry experience was designed as a pure white canvas, playing with matte and high-gloss lacquered glass surfaces to evoke sophistication. The centerpiece—a floating, articulated red reception desk—draws inspiration from the dynamic form language of the G4S logo, setting the tone for a space that is both striking and functional..

Cafeteria – Minimalism Meets Art

The cafeteria continues the grey palette with a living green wall near the pantry and high seating arrangements. A signature art installation runs along one wall, symbolizing diversity and creativity—people with different ideologies cooking in their unique way.

Designing the G4S Mind Centre – A Vision of Agility and Innovation

At studio Design-o-pedia we had the privilege of conceptualizing and executing the G4S command Centre, a space that redefines the essence of a modern command hub. Our design approach was rooted in the brand’s core values—agility, precision, and security—while creating an environment that inspires collaboration and confidence.

The central column was cleverly camouflaged with wooden paneling and storage, ensuring uninterrupted visual harmony.

Washrooms & Support Office

Washrooms were designed to contrast the overall grey palette with bold accents of red, adding a refreshing break. The Support Office embraces biophilic design principles, maximizing natural light and greenery. Custom wall graphics narrate the values and vision of G4S, creating an inspiring and responsible workspace.

Command Centre – The Heart of Operations

The Command Centre is the operational nerve of G4S, and we designed it to symbolize speed and vigilance, inspired by the eagle—a metaphor for agility. Key design elements include:

* Curvilinear baffled ceilings flowing into inclined wall panels stacked like eagle feathers.

* Integrated lighting solutions, featuring curved-profile lights over consoles and X-cove lights behind floating panels.

* A War Room with seamless video conferencing visibility.

* A Command Head Cabin camouflaged within the aesthetic, and a vibrant mobile booth in red, echoing the energy of a phone booth.
