The intent of the project was to design a residence of 240sqm at Jal Shakti Vihar, Noida. One major requirement of the client was to provide green sitout spaces in the design which lead to the west facing facade of being carefully designed based on the direction of the sun. Measures like baffled and staggered walls and deep seated windows gave opportunity for natural light and was great for winter facades.
The site planning was done keeping in mind that the
green spaces have to compliment the interiors. Huge
fenestrations in the shape and green spaces have been
designed complementing the modern, neat colors of the
exteriors.
The overall theme of the project is minimalistic and the
staggered appearance of the front facade makes it look
like a house of boxes.
